The Challenge
As part of an overall business continuity plan, the client needed a roadmap on which IT services could cost effectively be moved to a Cloud provider, the required timeframes and effort to do so.
The Solution
Mercury was engaged to perform a comprehensive assessment of the current infrastructure and applications, and develop a roadmap to move portions of the IT environment to a Cloud provider. Mercury used its Cloud Strategy Methodology to assess and document the current environment, identify applications that would be candidates for Cloud deployment, and develop a Cloud Roadmap to incorporate a hybrid-Cloud environment into their IT portfolio. Further, Mercury assisted with the transition and deployment of the selected applications and workload into the IBM SoftLayer and IBM Connections Cloud Verse environment.
